Rusk, Texas - A funeral service for Sherry Berryhill Barker, age 77, of Rusk is scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Keith Hassell and Rev. Johnny Emerson officiating. Burial will follow at Atoy Cemetery.

Mrs. Barker passed away July 10, 2021 in Tyler, TX. She was born August 10, 1943 in Jacksonville, TX to the late Theodore and Anita Conaway Stovall. She was a resident of Rusk most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Berryhill, two brothers, Connie Stovall and Mack Stovall. She is survived by her husband, Dana Barker of Rusk, son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Ray and Janet Berryhill of Rusk, daughter, Kim Locklin of Rusk, grandchildren, C.T. and wife Hailey, Shannie Kate, Jacob Ray, Rikki and Daryl-Anne, great-grandchildren, R.J., Daiden, Lilli and Emylea.

Pallbearers will include Paul Emerson, Clint Emerson, Scott Stovall, Brandon Goodman, Shane Stovall and Jordan Bishop. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the funeral home.
