A memorial service for Robert Alan Holcomb, age 71, of Bulah is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Brian Nichols and Rev. Charles Nunnally officiating.

Mr. Holcomb passed away February 5, 2019. He was born January 11, 1948 in Jacksonville, TX to Emmett C. and Martha Ray Black Holcomb. Mr. Holcomb was a lifelong resident of Bulah and attended of Adams Chapel Methodist Church. He graduated from Lon Morris College with an Associates of Arts and from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Mr. Holcomb was a retired draftsman and loved fishing, hunting and building.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Ray Holcomb. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Holcomb of Bulah, son and daughter-in-law, Heath Harvey and Monica Holcomb of Cedar Park, TX, two daughters and sons-in-law, Heather and Brian Nichols of New Summerfield, TX, Holly and Justin Lovell of Weches, TX, nine grandchildren including Megan, Trinity and Logan Holcomb of Cedar Park, Kristene Crysup of Austin, Kaden and Keaton Nichols of New Summerfield, Claire Gresham of Jacksonville, Clayton, and Camille Gresham of Weches, brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Sherry Holcomb of Bulah, sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Johnny Richey of Bulah, father, Emmett Holcomb of Bulah, four nieces and nephews, two aunts, two uncles and many cousins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Johnathan Richey, Andrew Houston, Justin Lovell, Neil Holcomb, Chuck Hinton, Matt Miller, Tom Theodore, Hal Theodore and Tim Theodore. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the funeral home.
