Funeral services for Marcelete (Cedy) Johnston Dickey, age 86 of Rusk, are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Oakland Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. R. S. Dyess officiating. Burial will be held at Oakland Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Mrs. Dickey passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in Jacksonville. She was born May 30, 1925 in Rusk, TX. Mrs. Dickey was a member of Oakland Missionary Baptist Church and formerly worked for Greyhound Corp. in Houston for 27 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Frances C. Dickey, brothers Coy Pete Johnston, Orvell Ray Johnston and Clyde Samuel Johnston and sister Jewell Legett. Survivors include sister Blanche Sewall of Jacksonville; sisters-in-law Inez Johnston of Oakland and Marguerite Johnston of Jacksonville; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Andrew Lowell, Charles Adams, Lane Baker, Charles Johnston, Thomas Carman, Steve Peters and Mike Sessions. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, March 30, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
