Truman went to his heavenly home peacefully on October 9, 2019 after an extended illness. He was born in Diaville, TX on October 6, 1924 to L.B. and Ura (Bownds) Golemon. Mr. Golemon was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. He graduated from Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, TX in 1941. He had numerous and unique "sayings" that brought smiles as well as quizzical looks to those around him.

I had known Lou since 1970 in Santa Fe. He was, without a doubt, one of the nicest people I have ever met and possibly the best campfire cook ever.
Now I can imagine Lucy saying, "What kept you?"
God Speed, Lou. Fair winds and a following sea.
