Jacksonville - A memorial service for Linda S. (Williscraft) Harkins, 78, is scheduled for 3 p.m., Sunday, August 31, 2025, at First Christian Church in Jacksonville with Barbara Morgan officiating.

Linda was born on August 18, 1947, in Dallas, to Lennox William and Margaret Earl (Ferguson) Williscraft and went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2025.

Linda spent her early professional career as a registered nurse. She enjoyed playing bridge with friends, golf, church activities, crocheting, spending time with family, traveling, and volunteering at H.O.P.E. and was the best C.E.O. a her household that anyone could ever wish for.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Dr. Jimmy Harkins; her sons Jason and Matthew Harkins. Their wives, Agnieszka and Diana Harkins. Her brother, Ken Williscraft and wife, Diane; and her grandchildren, Blake Miller, Chrissa Miller, Connor Harkins, Dylon Harkins, River Harkins and Kai Harkins.

Rather than customary condolences, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of East Texas.
