One of my favorite persons in my school years. Always had a smile and a kind word to me. Saw him in 2011 when there for 50th high school reunion . Several of us went to see him in nursing home and shared many good memories! Bless this family in this hard time!

Mr. Sanford was my first principal in 1977. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, but thank God for the wonderful memories of him as principal of West Side.

R.I.P. Mr. Sanford. When I next visit you in your office, it won’t be because Mrs. Cone sent me.
