Jacksonville - James "Turk" Monday passed away January 24, 2023, at the age of 81.

He was born on April 1, 1941, to the late Morris and Oma Monday. He worked and retired from the Frankston I.S.D. He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish Turk's memory are his wife of 60 years, Bonnie Monday; daughters, Meredith Smith and husband Bobby, and Shelly Sarver; grandchildren, Matthew and Kayla Sarver; and great-grandchildren, Samantha Sarver and Kalen Barksdale.

He was loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A visitation for Turk will be on Saturday, February 11, 2023, and friends and family are invited to visit with his family from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
