Funeral services for Geraldine "Gerry" Westbrook of Jacksonville are scheduled for Monday, Aug. 2, 2010 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville with Rev. Joe Ballard officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Westbrook was born on Nov. 21, 1920, in Jacksonville to the late William and Maudie Bolton. Mrs. Westbrook was a member of Sunset Baptist Church and former employee of Nichols Industry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Westbrook; son, Jerry Wayne Billings in l981, seven brothers and three sisters. Survivors are daughter, Sandra Westbrook Burton and husband Charles of Troup; son Jimmy David Westbrook and wife Glenda of Jacksonville; sister-in-law, Nellie Burton of Jacksonville; grandchildren Amy, Rodney, John, Jason, and Michael; 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Rodney Williams, Jason Westbrook, John Westbrook, Michael Billings, and Chris Needham. Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, at the funeral home from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Westbrook may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, TX 75701 or to the donor's choice.
