Jacksonville - Frances Moore, 91, of Jacksonville, Texas, passed away on June 23, 2025. She was born January 7, 1934, in Jacksonville, Texas, to the late Thomas and Corie (Deaton) Haws.

Frances graduated from Jacksonville High School and was employed 37 years with Bealls General Office. She was deeply committed to her faith, serving actively in her church as a teacher, pianist, event planner and volunteer. She was a member of Tecula Baptist Church until it's disbandment and later joined Afton Grove Baptist Church until unable to attend.

Known for her kindness, loving nature, and servant's heart. Frances consistently prioritized the needs of others, both within her family and beyond. She was also a gifted cook, always welcoming others to her table. Many of her cherished recipes are recorded in cookbooks and enjoyed by many.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years Wayne Moore, brothers Thomas and Ernest Haws; son in law, Tony Cummings.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Larry Moore and wife Angela of Flint, Leisa Cummings of Jacksonville, and Leslie Moore and wife Cindy of Tyler; her sister Norma Elliot of Arlington, TX; her grandchildren Tim Cummings, Kris Moore, Cassie Foster, Jessica Moore, Jodie House, Jennifer Hunter, Rachal Watts, Joseph Crews, April Waite, Abby Holly. 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 1, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Autry Funeral Home, 1025 SE Loop 456, Jacksonville, Texas, with Rev. Danny Crawford officiating. Frances will be laid to rest at Tecula Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tim Cummings, Lynn Watts, Noah Foster, Chad McGee, Jonathan Koopman and Kenneth Elliot

Visitation will be held on Monday 30, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Autry Funeral Home 1025 SE Loop 456 Jacksonville, TX.
