Carla Roberts
Carla Roberts, age 84, of Jacksonville, went to be with the Lord on June 21, 2025.
A funeral service for is scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday, June 30, 2025, at First Methodist Church in Jacksonville with Rev. Patrick Evans, David Roberts and Taylor Darr will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Resthaven Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Visitation will begin Sunday, June 29, 2025, and family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Carla was born in the spring of 1941 in Wichita Falls, TX. She was a graduate from Wichita Falls High School. In 1959, she was chosen as Miss Wichita Falls in and later became a contestant in the Miss Texas Pageant. Carla married her sweetheart, Jack, in 1960 and they moved to Jacksonville, TX in 1980. Carla was a hardworking devoted wife and mother whose legacy of love and determination will live on in the hearts of all those she loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Eileen (King) Gray; her beloved husband, Jack Roberts; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Fred Lowder and son-in-law, Andrew Woods Bagot.
Left to cherish Carla's memory are her sons, David Roberts and wife Jackie of Jacksonville, Jeff Roberts and Dana of Tyler and daughter, Laura Campbell Bagot of Tyler. She is also survived by sister, Jan Horky of San Antonio; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Zane McDonald, Taylor Darr, Jess Roberts, Jeff Millslagle, David Kurtz and Ross Burch. Honorary pallbearers will be Denny Bishop, Roger Worden, Garry Minton and Craig McCoy.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
