Bonnie Banks Obituary
A funeral service for Bonnie Banks, age 89, of Rusk is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the Wallace-Thompson Chapel. Burial will follow the next day at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Banks passed away August 18, 2019 in Rusk. She was born June 6, 1930 in Tecula, TX to the late Odie and Dorothy Barnes Alexander. Mrs. Banks was a resident of Rusk for 50 years, member of Eastside Baptist Church in Rusk and owner of B&B Farm Supply in Rusk.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Banks Jr., son, Billy Earl Banks, one granddaughter and one grandson. Survivors include her children, Edgar Banks III and wife Colleen of Rusk, Fred Banks and wife Pam of Conroe, TX, Joann Lunceford of Rusk, Jeff Godfrey and wife Judy of Kilgore, TX and Archie Banks, as well as numerous grandkids, great and great great grandkids.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the funeral home.
