A funeral service for Betty Jean Brandon Allen, age 67, of Rusk is scheduled for 4:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2022 at the Covenant Church in Rusk with Pastor Jeremey Driver officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery.

Mrs. Allen passed away May 13, 2022. She was born July 4, 1954 in Nacogdoches, TX to the late Homer and Verlene Brandon. Mrs. Allen graduated from Cushing High School and was a member of the Covenant Church in Rusk. She loved serving at her church, working in the yard with her husband, she loved her 3 stooges road trips to the casino, and most of all spending time with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bobby and Irene Allen, three brothers, Homer Lee Brandon, Bill Brandon and Kenneth (Doc) Brandon, great grandson, William Dean Branton and two brothers-in-law, Charles Rambin and Charles Wilkes. Survivors include her husband, Larry Allen of Rusk, two daughters and sons-in-law, Deana and Kyle Rasberry of Rusk, Kayla and Matt Branton of Rusk, two sisters, Margaret Rambin and Laurel Boles both of Garrison, TX, two sisters-in-law, Debbie Wilkes of Rusk, Virginia Brandon of Cushing, Tx, granddaughter, Mikel Sparacino and husband Jason of Kilgore, TX, Summer Branton, Dallas Branton, Sarah Branton all of Rusk, grandsons, Elijah Branton and wife Jordan, Kody Rasberry, Kasey Rasberry, Brandon Branton and Jeremiah Branton all of Rusk, many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

Pallbearers will include Kody Rasberry, Kasey Rasberry, Elijah Branton, Shad Bowman, Cobey Lofton and Jason Sparacino. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremiah Branton, Brandon Branton, and all Nephews. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2022 at the Covenant Church.
