Zoe Kate Powers, 27 days shy of her 8th birthday, went home to her Savior Sunday morning, July 2, 2017. Those who knew Zoe well know she was a fighter and she fought hard until the end. Zoe truly was a light to any who met her. Her sparkling eyes, curly hair and giant smile could brighten any room. Zoe, who's name means life, was larger than life and so strong... Just ask anyone who got one of her big bear hugs. Zoe loved to play sports, loved to dance and sing, loves Jesus and fiercely loved her family and friends. She was met in heaven by her great grandparents, Melvin (Papaw) Staggs, Aleta (Mamaw) Staggs, Bill (Papa) Powers, Marie (Mama) Powers, and Bob (Dandy) Robinson. She will be missed by her parents Zach and Mandy Powers, her sisters, Lexie Kay and Kylee Klaire, her grandparents, Steve (DanDan) and Kellie (Nonnie) Powers, Kenny (Papaw with the mustache) and Dana (Mamaw) Robinson and Emma (Kay Kay) Staggs, and her great grandparents, Jean (Mimi) Robinson, Mary (Biddy) Gordon and Pete and Sue Lenes, many aunts, uncles, cousins and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
