A memorial service for MSGT Ted E. Hall, age 71, of Jacksonville, is scheduled at 2 o'clock in the afternoon Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Woodland Heights Baptist Church in Jacksonville with ordained deacon Bobby LaMotte, Bro. Donny Sadler and Bro. Sonny McFarland officiating.
Hall went to be with the Lord on Sunday July 3, 2016, in Maydelle.
He was born July 2, 1945, in San Mateo, CA, to Eugene Albert and Jessie Louise Hall.
Ted was a loving husband, wonderful father and a beloved Paw Paw to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He served his country diligently in the U.S. Army for 22 years and also served his community for 15 years as a peace officer in Troup.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Susan Lugene Walton, brother-in-law Ricky Walton and nephew James Abernathy.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Debbie Hall of Jacksonville; son Chase Hall and wife Johnna of Tyler; daughter Tammie Gay and husband Bruce of Jacksonville; brothers, Roger Hall and wife Vivian of New Caney, and Alan Hall and wife Lou of Tyler; sisters, Barbara Milton and husband Joe of Arkansas, and Deborah Lefebvre and husband Jack of Porter; nine grandchildren: Aiden Gay, Emily Gay, Shawn Hall, Casey Hall, Nicholas Blanton, Shane Blanton, Tiffany Partin, Shelby Partin and Clay Partin; two great-grandchildren: Colton Shane McAnally and Emmy Cole Whitaker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Gay, Anthony Brumit, Tim Jonas, Jimmy Gatlin, David
LaMotte and Eli Whitaker.
