A graveside service for Melda Jeffrey Moseley, age 91, of Jacksonville, is scheduled at 2 o'clock in the afternoon Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Chaplain Eddy Secrest officiating. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Mrs. Moseley passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 in Jacksonville.
Melda was born June 28, 1925 in Hamilton, Texas to Jessie and Mattie (Farmer) Jeffrey.
She was a very active member of the American Ex-Prisoner of War organization.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Elizabeth Lloyd; brothers, John and Grover Jeffrey; and son-in-law C. "Lum" Newburn, III.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Clifford T. Moseley of Jacksonville; children, Barbara Andre and husband Jerry of Jacksonville, Sharon Newburn of Tyler, Clifford N. Moseley of Jacksonville, and Anita Tuck and husband Steve of Jacksonville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Erin Henriksen, Erika Dobbs, Lum Newburn IV, Sarah Newburn, Laleña Moseley, Stephen Tuck, Lindsey Bergemann and Katelyn Tuck; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 and friends are cordially invited to visit with Melda's family from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
