Funeral services for Margaret Lucille Bobbitt, age 91, of Tyler, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, April 23, 2017 in the Chapel of Boren-Conner Funeral Home Jacksonville, TX. Pastor Olin Boles, Pastor Earl Socia and Bro. Matt Gregory will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Bullard Cemetery, Bullard, Texas.
Margaret Lucille Bobbitt was born February 10, 1926 in Athens, Texas to James Wylie Cecil and Nener Mae Walls Cecil. She had worked at Trane in the parts crib before retiring. She was a member of the Harvest Time Church in Gresham. She had several very special loves in her life. Those were her Lord, her family, cooking and her Country Music which she and her husband had played and sang all of their lives. Margaret went to be with her Lord on April 19, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Jasper "Junior" Bobbitt, her son Billy Wayne Bobbitt and eleven siblings. She was the last of twelve children to join her heavenly father.
Margaret is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Bobby Lee and Kathlene Bobbitt of Wills Point and Ricky Ray Bobbitt of Baton Rouge, four daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn May and John Richmond of Tyler, Terry and Jim Birdd of Mont Alba, Rita Kay and Berry Boone of Bullard and Margaret Ann Kirby of Bullard, twenty three grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Grandsons and Great grandsons will be honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday at the Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville, TX.
