GALLATIN – Memorial services for Elizabeth Ann (Dement) Amazeen Moore, 55, of Gallatin are scheduled for 2 o'clock in the afternoon, Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the Gallatin Community Center in Gallatin, Texas, with Harold Lee Dement officiating. Mrs. Amazeen had been fighting an extended illness, but left peacefully to be with the Lord Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, Texas. She was born June 11, 1960, in Lakeview, Oregon, to Jackie and Sherrie Dement. Liddy was a registered nurse for the past 30 years. She loved helping others both in- and outside of her work and was the go-to lady for many family members and friends. She attended school in Rusk where she received scholarships for playing the saxophone before graduating in 1978. She then went on to receive her Bachelor's of Science degree in nursing at Stephen F. Austin State University in 1984. Throughout Liddy's illness, she was able to find joy in being a grandmother and continued to live up to her title as the "Fun Aunt." She always had a smile waiting for her Charlie Jean, no matter what. Liddy enjoyed camping, riding her four-wheeler and always seemed to have an idea for a good time. Liddy is proceeded in death by her brothers, Kennie and Jerrie Dement; grandson, Jackson Don Amazeen; grandparents, Carl and Cora Dement, John W. Lybrand, V.L. and Sis Rentle. Survivors include her husband, Scott Moore; parents, Jackie and Sherrie Dement; children, Ben and Christi Amazeen, Adrianna Amazeen and Mary Moore; grandchildren, Charlie Jean Amazeen; nieces and nephews, Aaron, Luke and Lance Dement, and Kailey and Keegan Dement.
