Beulah's Story

Beulah Marie Smith (Mrs. Tucker Smith), age 93 of the Turney and Gallatin area for the past 70 years, passed away Sunday, August 28th, 2016 after a brief illness.  
She was born November 8, 1922 in Oklahoma City, OK to J. R. and Mary Nitchke Welborn.
 A celebration of her life will be Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at 2:00 pm at Gallatin Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Brother Robin Parsons and Brother Wayne Thompson will officiate. Burial will be at Meador Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tucker G. Smith. She is survived by her children; Larry Smith and wife Jen, Martha McKnight and special friend Wayne McGee and Tim Smith; several grandchildren, Angie and Ted Long, Dwain and Ernie Smith, Kim and Archie Nickle, Kenneth and Tina McKnight, Brandi and Tommy Shepherd, Shelli Smith, Andrew Smith, Michelle and Bob Forsgren; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Aiden, and Daniel Smith, David and Chelsea Ball, Anna Marie and Casey Nichols, Michael Nickle, Brackston McKnight, Tucker, Alexa and Gunner Shepherd, Kennedy Forsgren; great great-grandchildren Harley and Tucker Ball.
Pallbearers will be: Kenneth McKnight, Dwain Smith, David Ball, Michael Nickle, Brackston McKnight and Tucker Shepherd.
Honorary Pallbearers will be; Archie Nickle, Ted Long, Tommy Shepherd, Bob Forsgren, Casey Nichols, Wayne McGee , Keith McKnight, Shane McKnight, Colton McKnight, Justin Koop, Charles Owen Etheridge, Randy Welborn and the men of Gallatin Missionary Baptist Church who have so faithfully been at her side.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Smith requested donations be made to Gallatin Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 189, Gallatin, TX. 75764
