A funeral service for Tommy Beckham, age 74, of Ponta, is scheduled at 2 o'clock in the afternoon Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville. He will be laid to rest at Walkers Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Beckham passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 in Jacksonville.
Tommy was born June 12, 1942 in Reklaw to Ralph and Vaneita (Dalby) Beckham.
He was a Ferti truck and cattle truck driver for 30 years and a banker at Convenience State Bank in Alto for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Beckham.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Joyce Beckham; daughters, Rhonda Nation and husband Bret, Renee Huddleston and husband Andy, all of Ponta; a brother, Murray Beckham and wife Nancy of Cushing; sisters, Joy Buckner and husband Crockett of Rusk, Pat Penny and husband Paul of Reklaw. He is also survived by grandchildren, Brian Raiborn and wife Kristen, Lacey Sullivan and husband Tyler, Hillary Raiborn, Holley Huddleston; great-grandchild, Kason Raiborn; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Sullivan, Bret Nation, Andy Huddleston, Paul Traylor, Jimmy Isaack, Rickey Cleveland, and honorary pallbearers Brian Raiborn, Kason Raiborn and Jack Quinn.
Visitation will begin on Saturday, January 28, 2017 and friends are cordially invited to visit with Tommy's family from 5 to 7 o'clock in the evening at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
