A homecoming service for Sarah Snyder, age 57, of Jacksonville, will be held at 10 o'clock in the morning Friday, March 18, 2016, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Bro. Chris Burris officiating.
Mrs. Snyder passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016, in Tyler after a short bout with cancer.
Sarah was born August 19, 1958, in Jacksonville, and was a devout Christian and a loving wife and mother. She was a teacher for 14 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Snyder; father, Bernard Dean; infant son, Matthew Snyder; and brothers, Johnny and Robert Dean.
Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Agnes Dean of Jacksonville; daughter and best friend, Katie Snyder and fiancé Sam Martin of Jacksonville; sisters, Patsy Shipp and husband Len of Lewisville; Jan Hooton and husband Gaylon of Jacksonville; aunt, Margurite Heisler and husband Harvey of Jacksonville; special friends, Chris and Heather Burris and their children Wade and Tana, all of Rusk; her Ya Ya sisters, Jean Gaylean, Tammy Cross and Mary Peacock, all of Jacksonville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including, Brenda Travis and husband Todd and Russell Hooton and wife Ashley; special great nephews, Ryan Travis, Kason Hooton; and special great nieces, Julianna Travis and Kinsley Hooton and many other loving friends.
