Norman Clay Arnold, 59, passed away peacefully in a Tyler hospital on Friday, August 26, 2016 with his brother David at his side. Clay was born on May 25, 1957 to Bruce Eugene Arnold and Barbara Lou Norman Arnold in Rusk, Texas. He had live most of his life in the Rusk and Jacksonville area and grew up attending the Church of Christ. Clay was employed in the canteen at Rusk State Hospital for many years. Clay loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed talking about cars and watching mysteries and crime shows on TV. He was full of laughter and fun and will be missed by the many who knew and loved him.
Clay was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Buster Arnold, and an infant sister Billie Rozene Arnold. He is survived by his brother David Arnold of Fort Worth, numerous cousins, and many close friends.
A celebration of Clay's life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Rusk, Texas with the Robby Arrington officiating.
