A funeral service for Nettie Mae Hubbard, age 75, of Rusk, is scheduled at 11 o'clock in the Morning Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at Gallatin Missionary Baptist Church in Gallatin with Rev. John McGuire officiating. She will be laid to rest at Taylor Cemetery in Gallatin.
Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Mrs. Hubbard passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016, in Tyler.
Nettie Mae was born June 24, 1941, in Jacksonville to Willie and Lottie Mae Garner.
She was a cosmetologist and owner of Nettie's Beauty Shop, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Rusk.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul Hubbard, brothers Jerry Lynn Garner, Willie Ray Garner, sisters Barbara Helen Welch, Mary Jean McKinney and granddaughter Hannah Ruth Hubbard.
Left to cherish her memory is her sons, Jerry Paul Hubbard and wife Christine of Palestine, Donald Ray Hubbard and wife Ginger of Henderson, Grandchildren Jereme Hubbard and wife Tiffany, Josh Hubbard and wife Cassie, Michael Hubbard and wife Taylor, Dustin Hubbard, Michael O'Brien and wife Veronica, Mathew O'Brien, Christopher O'Brien, Zach Hubbard and wife Tamika, Seth Hubbard and wife Rebecca, Bethany Hubbard and fiancé Michael Coyne, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are cordially invited to visit with the family on Monday October 3, 2016, from 6 to 8 o'clock in the evening at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Pallbearers will be Tommy McKinney, Brandon Welch, Ricky McKinney, Bubba Harris, Timothy Renfroe, Lawrence Thomas Dement, Dan Harris and Jo Harris.
