Funeral services for Nancy Gail Ellis Harbison, age 71, of Mt. Selman will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Boren-Conner Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Bro. Terry Younger and Bro. Dale Jamerson officiating. Services are under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Burial will follow at the Bullard Memorial Cemetery in Bullard, Texas.
Nancy was born November 17, 1946, in Jacksonville, TX. She had resided in the Jacksonville and Mt. Selman area all of her life. She was a housewife and loving Mother, a song leader and active member of the Mt. Selman Methodist Church and a two time breast cancer survivor.
Nancy went to be with her Lord on December 18, 2017 at her residence.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Ottis and Lottie Hunter, two husbands, William Henry Ellis and Glenn Harbison, brothers and sisters, Charles Ray Lavender, Melvin Lavender, Alvin Lavender, Dean Beasley and Joyce Harbison and two grandchildren, Jesse Gordon and Donnie Madgett.
She is survived by her son and his girl friend, James (Jamey) Henry Ellis and Teri Richey of Mt. Selman, step sons, Tom and Angie Ellis of Beaubridge, LA, Kip Harbison of Corpus Christy, Kyle Harbison of Victoria, Shawn and Rainy Harbison of Teague and Jerry Harbison of Dallas, step daughters, Cristy and Wayne Madgett of Austin, Kathy Plank of Wesleco, Amanda and David Kimbley of Wright City, brothers, Keith and Louise Hunter of Bullard, Larry and Eileen Johnson of Slippery Rock, PA, and Doug and Barbara Read of Corsicana, TX, sisters, Bette and Bobby Quinn of Longview, Faye and Audie Christie of Lufkin, and Janey and Rufus Marshall of Mansfield, LA as well as multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Pallbearers will be Stanley Hunter, Dustin Ellis, Mike Smith, Troy Ellison, Jake Ellis and Dillon Yates. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Kerr, Kip Harbison, Kyle Harbison, Jerry Harbison, Daryl Christie and Michael Lavender.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday evening at the Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
