A graveside service for Nancy Jane Crow, age 80, of Jacksonville, is scheduled at 10 o'clock in the morning Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Still Waters Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville with Rev. Lester Foreman officiating. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Mrs. Crow passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 in Jacksonville.
Nancy was born December 6, 1936 to Alton and Ottie Gardner.
She worked as an office clerk at Travis Clinic until it closed then worked at Nan Travis Hospital until she retired.
Nancy was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother. She was a very hard worker and had a strong faith and belief in God. She had a kind heart and never met a stranger. Mrs. Crow loved gardening, playing dominos, her family and John Wayne movies.
Her family would like to thank Dr. Milawski and Dr. Roberson for the care they provided her and for working with the family to meet her needs. We also give a very heart-felt thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice, they truly have the compassion and understanding of how to handle this time in the death and grief process. Most importantly, we thank Senior Care and their entire staff for the love and devotion they have shown Nancy over the past 2 ½ years. She was not just your patient, but a part of your family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Deal, Al and James, and a son Ricky Brandon
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Barbara Henderson and husband Randy, a sister, grandchildren Danielle Risinger and husband Kyle, Brody Henderson, Tommy Brandon, amy Parsons, great grandchildren Braysea, Laken, Hunter, Bailey and Luke.
Visitation will begin on Friday May 26, 2017 with family receiving friends from 6-8 pm at Autry Funeral Home Jacksonville
