A graveside service will be led by Brother Don Copeland at Jarratt Cemetery, Craft TX on 1 July 1917 at 10:00 AM.
Mary Elizabeth Copeland Sanders (Betty) was born in 1937 in Salem Community. She is preceded in death by her parents, James H and Carrie (nee Monroe) Copeland. She is also preceded in death by six brothers and sisters, James T Copeland, Ulysses E Copeland, Charles Copeland, Gertrude Brown, Edna Mae Wilcox, and Bernice Arrington.
She is survived by two brothers; Pastor Donald E Copeland (wife, Fayne Copeland) and Herbert A. Copeland (Billy, whose beloved wife Eliane passed away in 2014) who called her Betty, and too many nieces and nephews to name here. She loved and enjoyed them all.
Betty was married to Horace F Langham (Hank) from 1953 until 1975. They had four children, Kenneth Langham (wife, Lynda Langham), Patricia Langham Donald, James Mark Langham and David Langham. David passed away in 2011. She adored her grandchildren, Jeffrey Langham (wife, Laura Langham), Carrie Langham, Chase Donald and Caitlyn Donald as well as her two precious great grandchildren, Levi and Lorilei (Lolly) Langham, children of Jeff and Laura.
She was married to Bobby F Sanders from 1978 to 2011 when Bobby passed away. Bobby always called her Mary. Bobby was from Jacksonville Texas and was a loving husband and her best friend. After losing Bobby, she moved home to Rusk Texas where she lived near her family and friends.
Our mother dedicated her life to Jesus Christ early, as she was raised in a loving Christian environment. She was a member of Mount Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Rusk.
She was known for her generosity and her laugh. We will miss her so much but are comforted knowing she is at peace, as promised by our Lord Jesus Christ.
