Manford 'Bill''s Story
A graveside service for Manford "Bill" C. Worley, age 92, of Jacksonville, is scheduled at 1 o'clock in the afternoon Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Meador Cemetery with Chad Hancock officiating. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Mr. Worley passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 in Jacksonville.
Bill was born June 12, 1924 in Lebanon, Tennessee.
Bill loved to fish, hunt and playing pool. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a lifetime brick mason.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice Worley; parents, Walter and Mary (Greer) Worley; sister, Kay Hunter; sons, James "Tommy" Lowery, Ronnie Worley, Billy Wayne Worley and daughter-in-law, Mary
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Brenda Pierce and husband Joe, Debra Cox and husband Gary, Ann Garner and husband Larry, all of Jacksonville; daughter-in-law, Sue Lowery of Jacksonville; a sister, Dorothy Corley and husband Jack of Lebanon, TN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
