A funeral service for Lois Warren, age 94, of Jacksonville, is scheduled at 10 o'clock in the morning Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Rev. Ernest Higginbotham and Jess Slider officiating. She will be laid to rest at Pierce's Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Warren passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in Jacksonville.
Lois was born June 25, 1922 in Cherokee County, Texas to A.M. and Alma (Massey) Buckley.
Lois worked as an assembly line worker for 30 years. She farmed for many years and was a co-owner of Warren's Produce in Jacksonville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Warren; and several brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Pansy Bolton and husband Troy of Jacksonville; brothers, Jim Buckley and wife Peggy, Doyle Buckley and wife Billie. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Elaine Cooper and husband Mike, Donnal Bolton and wife Toni; and four great-grandchildren, Dustin Pruett and wife Vanessa, Sarah Cooper, Jacob Tucker and Michael Tucker.
Pallbearers will be Donnal Bolton, Mike Cooper, Jimmy Warren, Roger Warren, Dustin Pruett, and Clyde Cain.
Visitation will begin on Friday, October 28, 2016 and friends are cordially invited to visit with Lois's family from 6 to 8 o'clock in the evening at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
The family extends a special thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice and the caring staff of East Texas Medical Center, Jacksonville. Donations may be directed to the building fund of Pierce's Chapel Assembly of God, 7210 FM 747 S. Jacksonville, Texas 75766.
