A graveside service for Kim Hillencamp, age 73, of Jacksonville, is scheduled at 11 o'clock in the morning Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Jacksonville City Cemetery with Rev. Graham Hale officiating. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Mr. Hillencamp passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 in Jacksonville.
Kim graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and Thunderbird School of Global Management. After he served in the U.S. Marine Corps, he was the owner and president of Circle W Supply Company. He was a member of Westinghouse Electric Distributor Advisory Council. Kim was a member or served on the Board of Directors for First Interstate Bank, Cherokee County Sheltered Workshop, Rusk State Hospital Volunteer Services Council, Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, Jacksonville Planning and Zoning Commission, Rotary Club and United Fund.
Kim was a founder and board member of Jacksonville Clean Community System. He was past president of Cherokee Country Club and was appointed by Governor Bill Clements to the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Elizabeth Hillencamp and the mother of his children, Barbara Hillencamp.
Survivors include K.T. Hillencamp and wife Kelly of Jacksonville; daughter, Laney Crain and husband Scott of Dallas; and grandchildren, Hayden, Hadley and Turner.
