A funeral service for Kenneth Lee "Cowboy" Lambert, age 41, of Jacksonville, is scheduled at 2 o'clock in the afternoon Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Rev. Robert Simpson officiating. He will be laid to rest at Corine Cemetery.
Mr. Lambert passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Jacksonville.
Kenneth was born May 20, 1975 in Jacksonville and graduated from Jacksonville High School.
He worked in the shipping department for Stage Stores and was a member of First Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Noah Lambert.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother and stepfather, Veronica and Hugh Chandler of Jacksonville; children, William Scott Lambert of San Antonio, Sandra Lambert, Abigail Lee Lambert and Logan Scott Lambert, all of Jacksonville. He is also survived by a brother, Merritt Dale Lambert of Reklaw; sisters, Barbara Davis of Kansas, Betty Jo Anbrave of Fairfield; and six nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joe Foreman, Maurice Waller, Robert Martin, Roger McMichael, Anthony Henderson, Archie Lambert and Michael Sewell.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 and friends are cordially invited to visit with Kenneth's family from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
