Services for Frances Opal Hornbuckle, 82, Henderson, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2016 in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel, Overton with Reverend Danny Menges officiating. Burial will be in the Union Grove Cemetery under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
Mrs. Hornbuckle died Sunday, June 5, 2016, in a Henderson hospital. She was born November 2, 1933, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma to the late William Good and Ursula Pugh Good. She was a homemaker and moved to Henderson 30 years ago from Jacksonville.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Hornbuckle was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Kenneth Hornbuckle January 3, 2013.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Juliandra Gentry of New London; her daughter, Patsy King of Brentwood, Tennessee; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Tommy Pugh of Henderson, John and Sandy Good of Alto, and Bessie Good of Corpus Christi; a sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Paul Pachowicz of Caputa, South Dakota; ten grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Randall Gentry, Tim Wilson, Charles Gladden, Gary Williams, William Good, and Ronnie Whatley.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, June 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m, prior to the service.
