Estalene's Story

Estalene Hensley passed away February 16, 2017. Mrs. Hensley was born July 22, 1925 and was a lifelong residence of Jacksonville, Texas.
Mrs. Hensley married Sam Hensley on February 14, 1946, upon his return from service in World War II. She was employed with General Telephone Company in Jacksonville and retired with 35 years of service.
Mrs. Hensley was predeceased by Sam Hensley; her parents, L.G. and Bess Lane; and her brother, Robert Erskine Lane. She was also predeceased by her son, Robert Hensley.
She is survived by her children, Jean Poston and husband Rick, Rosemary Hensley, David Hensley and wife Debra Hagens; and a daughter-in-law, Susan Hensley. Mrs. Hensley is also survived by grandchildren, Lori Weber, Ryan Weber, Michael Rogers, and April Miller Langley, and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin on Saturday, February 18, 2017 and friends are cordially invited to visit with Estalene's family from 5 to 7 o'clock in the evening at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
A graveside service for Mrs. Hensley will be held at 2 o'clock in the afternoon Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Jacksonville City Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 2:30 PM at First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville.
Rather than customary condolences, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 411 S. Bolton St., Jacksonville, TX 75766 or a charity of your choice.
