Dorothy Jean Olsen was born to John and Dorothea Wilhelmine Marpe Olsen on January 8, 1928 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. She attended Albert Lea schools and graduated with the class of 1946. In 1949, she married her husband, Eugene Kenneth Stolze who was to be with her for 68 years until her day of rejoicing on Monday.

She had many occupations over the years, but her biggest JOB was raising 10 children to adulthood. Dorothy and Eugene were an integral part of maintaining the Society of St. Steven's Food Pantry at the First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville. They won the Hero Award for the East Texas Food Bank in 2014.

Dorothy is proceeded in death by her parents, a sister, Joan (Bob) Johnson; 2 sons; Bruce Edward and Keith David (Anita); a nephew, Eric Johnson; John and Amy Goodman; sons-in-law, John Kibler and Jack Goldman.
