A funeral service for David Robinson, age 51, of Jacksonville, is scheduled at 1 o'clock in the afternoon Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville.
Mr. Robinson passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Jacksonville.
David was born July 28, 1965 in Houston.
He worked as a truck driver having 22 million safe miles of hauling hazardous chemicals and was proud of his CDL license. He had a great sense of humor and tried to make everyone around him happy. David was very protective of his children, in-law and animals and loved them and his parents very much. He believed in God
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane (Reese) Robinson and father, Leslie Robinson, who was a WWII Bomber Pilot on the Celestial Princess III with the CBI squadron.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Nora Davis of Jacksonville; sons, Cody Robinson of South, Texas, Tyler Robinson of Montrose, CO; sister, Leslae Labay and husband Gary of Manvel; nephews, Joshua, Lindsay and Andrew Labay; and several great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 and friends are cordially invited to visit with the family from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
