Chloe E. Tillman


Graveside services for Chloe E. Tillman, age 104, of Jacksonville will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Resthaven Cemetery with Rev. Bill Garner officiating. Chloe E. Tillman was born June 13, 1915
in Murfreesboro, Arkansas to Jasper and Ida McRoy Hoover. She passed away on Saturday, August 24, in a Tyler hospital. She had resided in Jacksonville for many years where she was well known for caring for others and being a good neighbor. She was a member of the Baptist faith, a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxilary and a former member of the Cherokee Rebecca Lodge.
Chloe was preceded in death by her husband, Richard V. Tillman, two sons, Dickey Tullis and Roy "Poad" Tullis, several sisters and brothers and one grandson, David Bariola.
Chloe is survived by three daughters, Bobbie Toner of Chandler, AZ, Bonnie Bariola of Chandler, AZ, and Peggy Brown of Jacksonville, TX, a sister, Nell Waters of Temple, TX, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be at the cemetery from 9:30 A.M. until service time of 10:00 A.M.
