Memorial services for Carolyn Marie Ryherd Green, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at 10:30 A.M., at the Central Baptist Church, Jacksonville with Pastor Sonny McFarland officiating.
Carolyn was born September 20, 1948, in Dacatur, Illinois, to William and Marilyn Brown Ryherd. She grew up in Calallen, Texas and later resided in Jacksonville, Texas. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She had her bachelor degree, was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and was very interested in genealogy, painting, photography, traveling and best of all, making memories with friends and family.
Carolyn died on March 7, 2016, at the age of 67 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. She was preceded in death by her father, William Ryherd, her mother, Marilyn Brown, son, Daniel D. Green, and daughter-in-law, Shalee D. Green.
She is survived by her husband, D. B. Green, two sons and daughter-in-law, Damon and Paula Green and Daniel Green; two daughters and son-in-law, Rebecca and Leonard Burns and Regina Armstrong; brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Dana Ryherd; sister, Rhonda Tyson; 13 grandchildren - Jaclynn Ramsey, Brandon Ramsey, Dylan Green, Mason Green, Vicrtoria Green, Blaine Green, Jordan Armstrong, Austin Mason, Brantley Mason, Ali McClendon, Carson Burns, Michael Lavender and Matthew Lavender and one great-grandchild, Kamdin Ramsey.
