Graveside services for Audy Lee Applin will be held Friday, January 15, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Resthaven Cemetery in Jacksonville with Pastor David Moore officiating. Audy Lee Applin was born August 23, 1949 in Aubrey, Texas to Andrew Jefferson Applin and Jewel Dean Ivey Applin. He served in the U. S. Army and was a member of the Pentecostal faith. He has worked most of his life as a carpenter. He passed away at his residence on Wednesday morning, January 13, 2016. Audy Lee Applin is survived by his wife, Mona Applin of Jacksonville, three sons and a daughter-in-law, William Jeff Applin of Jacksonville, Cody L. Applin of Colorado and Christopher R. and Kenya Applin of Jacksonville, one daughter, Teressa of Waxahachie, one sister, Darlene Smitherman of Lancaster, TX, three brothers, Andrew Lee Applin and Jerry Ray Applin of Oklahoma and Douglas Applin of Cedar Creek, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 at the Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
